Default interesting

I have the same concern. so far gaining for the past 4 weeks since I started GM for the second time. But are so afraid of gaining more. Did you continue with GM or left?
I know it's not a diet and we don't have to rush but if nothing is happening to our weight, then we loose the motivation and start binging with junk.

I've started the GM not long ago, after 3 weeks I fell into my old thinking "I'm not loosing weigth" "this doesn't work" "Another diet that fails me" bla bla bla....AND THEN I WENT AND HAVE A GREAT BINGE so I notice that those thougths are what push me to eat. Thats why after that binge I decide to try to be very aware of my thoughts...and the moment that I star "plying the same old record" I STOP, I REMIND MYSELF THAT BELEIVING THOSE THOUGHTS IS A SURE WAY TO EN UP BINGING....so be aware of your thoughts...check Byron Katie "the work" If you have trouble focusing

All the best!!!

I agree with what Jon says about diets, although I think the single biggest error they make is the emphasis on "low fat" and they push high-carb menus as if that's supposed to make you thin. Carbs invoke insulin into the blood stream, and insulin inhibits the use of fat for energy. That puts you on a perpetual cycle of low energy, eat carbs, still low energy, eat more carbs, etc.

And of course typical diets will put your body in starvation mode which triggers obvious fat programs there.

If you have to restrict to show that you're "dieting", try restricting the most obviously toxic and offensive foods out there: refined sugar and starch. The rest of it, eat whatever you crave for, and when you can steer yourself more towards the natural, low-tech, unprocessed, raw, etc.

Also try to interpret cravings. A craving for cherry ice cream might be the body's cry for the nutrients in cherries, and the protein in the milk used for the ice cream. And so forth.

Can anyone suggest some good affirmations for turning off the FAT switch, and telling my body that I want to be thin?
